Mark of Service
When someone pledges themselves to a Great House, they are branded with a divine tattoo of sorts called a Mark of Service. The Mark takes the form of the House’s Coat of Arms and is used to identify a person’s affiliation. This is always visible through armor or clothing and cannot be hidden. Practically, the Mark grants its bearer a small share of divine power as well as the right to enter The Etemenanki. A Mark of Service can only be rescinded with the consent of both parties.
